The Sole E35 cross trainer is a great choice for people with knee, joint, back and hips problems or for older people, who look for a non-impact workout. As a result of the research performed with a leading sports scientist and physical rehabilitation expert, Sole has been successful to develop a special foot pedal design that can adjust to fit the way you walk and reduces the numb toe effects as well as sore Achilles tendons. A 2-degree inward angle was added to the foot straps to put the user's joints back into a neutral alignment and thus ease the overstressing of the ankles, knees and hips. The smooth performance of the Sole E35 has been ensured by a 10.5kg (23lbs) flywheel. A computer controlled power incline targets different groups of muscles, which adds more flexibility to your workouts. Such an effect has been achieved thanks to a ramp incline feature that offers a normal elliptical workout when the incline is at its lowest position and provides the feeling that your knees rise higher with each step when you increase your incline, which means that more muscle groups and fibers get involved. The cross trainer has a vibrant 6.5" blue backlit LCD console that offers feedback on time, speed, distance, resistance, incline, calories, programme and pulse. There are 10 programmes to choose from (1manual, 5 preset, 2 user defined, 2 heart rate control). Each of the programmes can be customized with your personal information and changed to suit your needs. Heart rate measurement can be achieved using integrated pulse sensors in the handlebars or for the ultimate in accuracy, a chest belt can be used with the built in receiver (chest belt not included). The console has also been equipped with built-in speakers and an Audio Jack that enables you to plug any low-level audio source signal into this port (MP3, iPod, portable radio, CD player or even a TV or computer audio signal).
