The DKN XC-140 Elliptical Cross Trainer offers a very silent and smooth workout thanks to its 14 kg (30lbs) flywheel. It has a completely automatically controlled resistance setting divided into 24 steps, making each interval step-up smaller. The elliptical has been equipped with a 'Personal-Coaching' multifunctional colour LCD that provides simultaneously feedback on: speed / rpm, distance covered, time elapsed, theoretical calorie burn, watts / energy output and heart rate. It offers 12 pre-set programmes, each one featuring 24 levels and 20 time-intervals and 4 Heart Rate programmes. Heart rate measurement is easily achievable using hand grip pulse sensors or telemetric heart rate receiver (chest strap not included). The DKN XC-140 allows your feet to change angles while you are exercising. It has horizontally adjustable pedals and uses high endurance sealed bearings with teflon housing. This construction increases the step-amplitude by 25% compared to usual rear-drive ellipticals. The elliptical has a narrowed inner-distance between pedals to match a natural training position for multiple users. Thanks to it the user can enjoy a centred, well balanced straight upward position, which provides a reduced stress on knees, hips and lower back.
