The Sole E55 cross trainer has been equipped with pedals that have an innovative design to fit the way you walk. A 2-degree inward angle was added to the footstraps to put the user's joints back into a neutral alignment and thus ease the overstressing of the ankles, knees and hips. It is possible to adjust the foot pads anywhere from 0-10 degrees to find the position that is most suitable for you. This feature reduces the numb toe effect and sore Achilles tendons. The cross trainer offers a computer controlled 0-40 degree incline. For making the workout more varied, the Sole E55 has a ramp incline feature that offers a normal elliptical workout when the incline is at its lowest position and provides the feeling that your knees rise higher with each step when you increase the incline; this feeling means that more muscle groups and fibers get involved, which makes your training more effective. The smooth fluid performance has been ensured by a 12.5kg (27lbs) flywheel and eddy current brake system. The vibrant 7.5" blue backlit LCD console provides feedback on time, speed, distance, resistance, incline, laps, calories, programme and pulse. You can choose among 10 programmes (1manual, 5 preset, 2 user defined, 2 heart rate control) and customize each of them with your personal information. Heart rate measurement can be achieved using integrated pulse sensors in the handlebars or for the ultimate in accuracy, you can use a chest belt compatible with the built in receiver (chest belt not included). The console has also been equipped with built-in speakers and an Audio Jack that enables you to plug any low-level audio source signal into this port (MP3, iPod, portable radio, CD player or even a TV or computer audio signal).
